It's been a while since I've done anything on the dA. Sadly, all good things have to end and, so, here I'm again. Beware! This journal entry is only a tip of the iceberg!
Hopefully, you'll appreciate a good job I've done in not disturbing your peace (either through deviations or comments) and be patient with me until I found my self swamped with everything else and unable to visit dA again. But before this happens, I will try to upload some 'recent' photos (probably all I've shot in last year ) and see if anyone will notice.

Finally, although I'm still not 100% sure I should do it, I will share this story with you.

A friend of mine is a member of Mountaineer Club in Split (HPD Mosor) and she has been persuading me to enter some of my photos into a selection for annual exhibition of mountain/cave/nature photos at her club. It took a while (over a year), but she has managed to convince me and I ended up shuffling through my photos, trying to find some that could even remotely be of interest for such an exhibition.
After digging up a few, I have sent them without holding my breath or . When she told me that there were over 700 entries, I was only thinking 'When will they start returning the photos?' and 'Why did I actually do this?'. Surprisingly, she continued with good news. Not only was one of my photos (Hello, Aliens) selected as one of 100 to be exhibited, it was also awarded one of the 9 first prizes by the professional photographers.
Understandingly, she had to work hard to convince me that this was not a practical joke.
Although I was too busy to attend the opening (she had to collect my prize and congratulations ) I did manage to visit the exhibition. Honestly, I was absolutely shocked with quality of most of the photos and felt like a thief because my photo was awarded.
I should have known better but to doubt that photo, especially after and have faved it.
